Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as the principal legal architect and strategic partner to the CEO and Board. This role is responsible for orchestrating the group's overarching legal roadmap, enterprise-wide risk mitigation, and high-level corporate governance. You are the custodian of the organization’s legal integrity and the driving force behind legal operations that enable, rather than restrict, business growth. You bridge the gap between complex legal frameworks and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Legal Architecture: Design and execute a holistic legal strategy that directly supports the company’s long-term business objectives and aggressive growth targets.
• Enterprise Risk Orchestration: Identify, assess, and mitigate systemic risks across all business verticals, ensuring the organization’s "risk appetite" is managed with surgical precision.
• C-Suite Advisory & Decision Support: Provide high-stakes legal counsel to the Board and C-suite, ensuring that every strategic business decision is backed by robust legal defensibility and commercial optimization.
• Crisis & Reputation Defense: Lead the organization’s legal response during systemic crises, managing public relations impacts, regulatory blowback, and stakeholder trust with speed and authority.
• Legal Operations (LegalOps) Transformation: Architect a high-efficiency legal ecosystem, implementing technology, workflows, and resource allocation models that maximize ROI and departmental throughput.
• Governance & Compliance Framework: Establish and enforce a unified corporate governance framework that dictates operational standards across all group companies, ensuring uniform compliance and ethical conduct.
• High-Impact Negotiation: Lead the negotiation and closure of the most critical high-value deals and strategic partnerships, leveraging legal expertise to secure commercial advantages.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.).
Experience: 7-10+ years in senior legal roles within top-tier law firms or as General Counsel for high-growth enterprises. Proven expertise in multi-disciplinary team leadership.
